This wine was less than $6 at Whole Foods (which means you can probably buy it for$4 at a regular grocery store).
And it was one of the best reds I’ve ever had. Go get it. It’s fantastic.![]()
Do you like red wine or white wine? Dry or sweet? Dry, red wine is my favorite but a crisp, dry white is amazing in the summer. I hate sweet wines.
If you don’t drink wine, what’s your favorite drink? Kombucha or root beer is a perfectly acceptable answer.

White – that is just a tad sweet. I only started drinking wine about a year ago and haven’t acquired a taste for reds yet!

Try a shiraz – I swear even white wine drinkers like shiraz!
Mmmmm, red wine

I’m a fan of red AND white wine. I tend to like red’s in the colder months and cool whites in the summer

You are KIDDING me. Please tell me the rest of that interaction. What did you say?!
We had some friends over and my husband poured us some red wine. I thought it was so delicious and commented several times on it. When I looked at the label, I was stunned to find it was Trader Joe’s! Just proves that cheap can be delicious!

I’ve heard TJ’s wine is amazing but have never tried it!
I prefer a nice lager or stout, but I do love Crane Lake! I just started drinking reds. My palate has changed a lot and sweet whites (which I used to love) are just too sweet now.
Isn’t it funny how your palate changes over time?
I love vino. Our grocery stores can’t sell it, though because of tragic state laws. I bet Whole Foods would have a great selection.

Whole Foods really does have a great selection, from cheap to pricey, organic to sulfate free. Sorry about your state laws, but I understand! I grew up in Utah!
I LOVE dry red wine. I might be a snob, but I cannot drink anything else.
And I hate sweet wine, too. Blech!

I love sweet whites–I know, so girly. My favorite is Gewurtzraminer.
I’ve never even heard of Gewurtzraminer…let alone how to pronounce it!
I like white, the sweeter the better! (Basically the opposite of how I like my coffee, black and bitter! haah)

haha!
I’ve slowly worked my way up to black coffee. I used to have to have tons of sugar and milk and now I like it black with just a little sugar. I’m so proud of myself!
I like red, but more bitter than sweet.

i like white wine. i am becoming a wino.
yaaaaayyyyy!
I can only handle super-sweet white wines. Dessert wines. Moscato is by farrrr my favorite type. And it multi-tasks – I use it in dessert recipes AND plain sipping.
But my husband is like you – dry reds are his favorite.
