My Exciting News!

Remember when I told you that I took a short blogging break because I was working on a different project that I was super excited about? Well, I can tell you about that project now.

The editor at Winston-Salem Monthly, Michael, contacted me a few months ago and asked me to share my favorite local holiday tradition as part of their “local celebrity” feature in the December issue. I was flattered to be included. Then a few weeks later, he asked me to write a feature article for the magazine for the January issue!

It was one of my life bucket list items to be published in a magazine so I am so excited that I had this opportunity.

Hey, that’s me!

I started sweating like crazy when the photographer was pointing his lens at me. Afterwards, I asked the owner of the Pure Barre studio where I was being photographed if she had turned the heat up for that class. She laughed. Ahem, the answer was no.
