Winterlark Gala 2016 + Rent the Runway

Hi friends! Happy Monday! My weekend flew by – it was busy but fun! The big event of our weekend was a black tie gala that Tommy was invited to for work. I used Rent the Runway and was once again, happy with my experience. (I’ve used them a few times in the past.) I didn’t love any of the pictures we got, so I’m hoping some of the professional photos turn out well since the event had some photographers floating around. But, I want to share pictures of my dress with you!

These were pics I snapped when I tried the dress on after it arrived on Friday. I ordered the Badgley Mischka Beauty in a Bottle gown, and was so happy it came in petite sizes. I had on 4″ heels and it fell perfectly to the floor. Much better than regular dresses on me.

I snapped this picture for my mom very quickly as I was rushing out the door to meet Tommy.

And then I was completely flustered seeing Tommy in a tux for the first time. I had butterflies for a solid hour. 🙂

We had a great time seeing friends and meeting lots of new ones. The event was at the Graylyn Estate, which is absolutely gorgeous, and I’m happy we were able to participate in an event raising money for such a good cause – cancer patient support services.
