So glad you are following me, too! We are blends now! (blogger friend = blend) Do you have Twitter, too? I couldn’t find you in a quick search. Have a fantastic day!!

haha! I was just explaining what a “blend” was to my coworker. :)

No, I don’t have a Twitter account since I’m at an office all day that blocks Twitter. :(

Do you have FB? I try to find blends on FB because then it makes them “IRL” friends…or at least that’s what I tell my lame ass…

Yes! But I suck at FB and can never figure out how to add people…so search for me and add me! And yes, that will definitely help our IRL friend status.

I picked up Clean Food today and am so excited to get started! What have your favorite recipes been so I know where to begin?

My favorite so far is the Mediterranean Pasta with Greens and the Spicy Thai Tempeh. Delicious!

Teri, I have a tech question for you if you don’t mind. I am trying to have my blog feed into a Facebook page I’ve created and tried a couple of plug ins without success. Can I ask your method for your new fan page? I appreciate any direction you can give. Thanks.

i love your blog! very cute. we’ve got some things in common & i think our dad’s probably know each other because my dad was the 1st person to stay at kirk’s lodge and has been going up (and sending people up) a couple times a year ever since!

Hi there! Great blog
And i was wondering why you picked AFAA over NASM? I was planning to get a certificate in general.

I love raw food, running and would like to consult people of general fitness and nutrition.

Hi Smriti!

I chose AFAA over NASM because that’s what the gyms in my area wanted. NASM is a GREAT certification though – very reputable. I know they have a personal train cert – not sure about group fitness. You can read more about my certification process here – http://afoodiestaysfit.com/popular/become-a-fitness-instructor/

You are just the cutest. Hello to your mom. Congratulations on your dad’s 70th birthday. In a few more years he might catch up to my age.
Take care of yourself.

Hi there. I stumbled upon your site while looking for a spin class in Winston Salem. I’m heading there tomorrow for 2 weeks (from London, England) on vacation, but I would like to take the opportunity to do some quality exercise, as I have been slacking lately!

Are you a spin instructor? If so, where and when are your classes? Can I just turn up and pay per session or do I need to be a member of the gym you teach at?

Sorry for all the questions!

Mike

Hi Mike, I actually don’t teach spin anymore. All of the local gyms offer spin though and have drop-in rates so you shouldn’t have a hard time finding a good class. I hope you enjoy your time in Winston!
